Roses are red, violets are blue
My post is still blank, and I haven’t a clue.
I remember the days when just starting out,
A domain name took days upon weeks to come about.
They spoke of hosting, a term I would discover,
Is somewhere in space my dear website would hover.
Should I design myself or shell out some dough?
Graphic design here I come. 100 bucks for a logo?
I published my first post for all to see,
One like from my mom. Sad, I agree.
Edit and edit and edit some more,
Publish. Oh crap, it’s “for” not “four”.
The comments started building with rave reviews,
With 50% spam for Louis Vuitton shoes.
I swore I would kick this 9 to 5,
But then the lights would go out and the water’d run dry.
After all of the stress I still can’t wait to come home,
By myself in a room, but never alone.
Sometimes I want to punch the screen through,
But Happy Valentine’s Day blog, I still love you.
And Happy Valentine’s Day to all the tireless bloggers out there.

I think this is the only bit of corniness I’ll condone on Valentine’s Day! I don’t really partake in the collective fuss that is February the 14th, but this was sweet and not altogether inconsequential.
